That’s right, Zakk Wylde wants YOU to shoot the new video for his E1 Music single release “Parade Of The Dead!”

Zakk’s call to all Berzerkers on the BLSOfficial YouTube Channel to motivate off their couches, recliners and barstools with their digital video cameras is a first in band history. The results as Zakk would say, “will be un- f’n believable.”

Sure, there have been fan generated video contests before– but with the Berzerker Nation behind this one, anything can happen. Who knows what the Berserkers will create? Zakk and E1 Music are expecting the unexpected and the footage can be riotously funny, dead serious or somewhere in between.

So fire up your java maker,-fuel up- and grab the nearest Flip video camera (or any other digital recording device) and start shooting!

But be careful, and make sure you don’t “go breaking any laws!” says Zakk.

Zakk and E1 want you to keep clean and fun- because the winning video entry or footage will be used as the official “Parade Of The Dead” video online, and perhaps elsewhere too!

The bottom line: this opus is gonna last forever- so make it good.

What else can I win?

Well, there are no Oscar’s being handed out- but the winning entry will be used as the official “Parade Of The Dead” E1 Music Video along with a full band autographed “The Black Label Order” box set and 4 additional BLS Tee Shirts.

Three additional runners up will receive full band autographed CD’s of “The Black Label Order” and a BLS Tee Shirt as well.

You have until midnight (eastern) on August 1 to submit a video response to Zakk’s BLS Parade Of The Dead contest via youtube.

It will appear as an option to the right of the comment box- “attach video”. Click that icon and begin your upload!

As long as you RESPOND to the video you will not run into any copyright restrictions for “Parade Of The Dead” song usage.

BEFORE YOU SHOOT OR UPLOAD ANY VIDEO YOU MUST AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: Legal link here

1. Select the “Upload a Video” options.

3. Enter all of your video’s information.
4. Click either “Upload a video” to upload a file, or “Record from Webcam” if you decide to use your webcam – not sure how that will work as a video- but heck, you can try.

LEGAL:

• The Video from the inception of production will be considered a “work made for hire” for E1 and Black Label Society and will be deemed transferred to E1 and Black Label Society by this Agreement, together with all rights in it, if it determined not to be such a work. The Video, and all duplications thereof in whatever form, together with the performances embodied thereon, shall be the sole property of E1 and Black Label Society in perpetuity, free from any claim whatsoever by You or any other person.
• E1 and Black Label Society shall have the exclusive right to copyright the Video in its name as the owner and author thereof and to secure any and all renewals and extensions of such copyright throughout the world. You will execute and deliver to E1 and Black Label Society such instruments of transfer and other documents regarding the rights of E1 in the Video as E1 and Black Label Society may reasonably request to carry out the purposes of this Agreement and E1 and Black Label Society may sign such documents in your name and make appropriate disposition of them.
• E1 and Black Label Society shall have the unlimited right to exploit the Video for all purposes by any means now known or hereafter developed, and in any form whatsoever, under any trademarks, trade names and labels with no compensation payable to you or any other third party.
• E1 and Black Label Society may edit, change, translate, dub and/or do additional photography in connection with the Video and E1 shall have no obligation to employ you to do so.
• You warrant and represent that no Materials, as hereinafter defined, furnished or selected by you or any use thereof, will violate any law or infringe upon or violate the rights of any person or entity. “Materials”, as used in this paragraph, means all musical, dramatic, artistic and literary materials, ideas and other intellectual properties contained in the Video.
• E1 and any licensee of E1 each shall have the perpetual right and may grant to others the right to disseminate biographical material concerning you in connection with the advertisement, publicity, promotion and exploitation of the Video
• You agree to indemnify, defend and hold E1 and Black Label Society harmless from any losses, claims, damages, expenses (including reasonable counsel fees and legal costs), arising out of or in connection with any breach by You of any warranty, representation or Agreement made by You herein.
